Biomax Poultry is a material designed for inclusion in the daily ration of poultry. The key components are a citrus fruit extract (EC 1831/2003) and a high quality brewers' yeast (96/25/EC).

Biomax Poultry is natural, safe and easy to use and may be used in conjunction with control measures such as vaccines and antibiotics. It does not contain any genetically modified materials and may be fed at any time during the production cycle, right up to the day of slaughter.

FEMAS - Feed Materials Assurance Scheme FEMAS covers all feed ingredients intended for direct feeding to animals or for inclusion in compound feeds and blends. It is based on HACCP principles, a system originally pioneered by space agency NASA, but now forming the bedrock of EU Food and Feed legislation.

This unique blend of materials in Biomax Poultry promotes the growth of beneficial micro-organisms in the gut whilst stimulating the immune system of the bird. The result is a healthier bird which converts more feed to live weight (improved feed conversion ratio) and lower mortality in the flock.
An additional positive effect is the mycotoxin binding property of Biomax Poultry - other feed materials in the diet (cereal crops) may have some degree of fungal contamination (not necessarily visible with the naked eye) which has the potential to upset the gut of the bird and reduce feed conversion. The components of Biomax Poultry have the potential to bind to these contaminants such that they do not affect the bird and are excreted in the faeces.
